The friendly Ornitholestes family is waiting for your visit! They are adorable young chicks that are just hatching from their eggs. Ornitolestes is a species of prehistoric dinosaur. It is a carnivore that looks like a huge bird. Adult specimens measured about 2 m and had a small skull, which was, however, more massive and stronger than that of other known theropods. Ornitholestes also had a long tail that could be used for keeping balance. Come and visit our adorable family!

The only such specimen in the world awaits you at the Moving Dinosaur Park. Argentinosaurus is the largest dinosaur found, belonging to the Tyrannosaurus family of sauropods. Interestingly, it lived in what is now South America during the Cretaceous period, some 97-93.5 million years ago. Scientists estimate that it may have weighed around 80-100 tonnes, with a height of 113 metres and a length of 44 metres. Experts believe that the air that largely filled its bones and ribs enabled it to achieve such impressive shapes. Argentinosaurus was one of the largest land dinosaurs of its time.

Our dinosaur family continues to grow, a large Styracosaurus in shades of green and blue has joined the family! It stands out with its impressive horn and orifice. Scientists have argued about what they were used for – to defend against predators, to help with thermoregulation, or maybe… they were supposed to attract the opposite sex? Check it out in Zatorland! It looks pretty scary – thanks to its massive build and short legs, it somewhat resembles a rhinoceros. But you don’t have to be afraid- it is very friendly and is already looking forward to seeing you in Zatorland.
